Since it's a new year and I wanted a format that would better show off the 52 weeks project (basically, I waned a wider format for horizontal photos), I decided it was time for a new look.
What do you think of the light text on a darker background? I like the way photos show up on the dark, but I'm a little worried that the text is harder to read. Is anyone having any trouble with it? I'm not 100% sold on the new look, so I would definitely want to change it if anyone is having trouble reading.

Works for me :-) I like it!
One thing, I don't know if you care, but you have word verification enabled on your blog. This makes it next to impossible for people with certain types of disabilities, mainly vision ones, to comment on your blog. If you are worried about spam, bloggers new spam filter really does work very well or you could enable comment moderation.
I like it a lot. Visually the color scheme is very rich.
Katrin, I had no idea that some people have trouble with the word verification (it makes perfect sense, I just never thought of it). That's frustrating. I removed it from all of my blogs now. I have it set to send me an email whenever someone comments, so I should catch spammers pretty quick anyway.
Blue one of the other things you might want to do if you are concerened about accessability is start using img alt tags on your photos in your blogs to add written descriptions to your photos that people using screen readers can view. It is incredibly easy to do in blogger. All you do is upload and insert your photo in the post. Then go to the HTML view and at the start of the photo put in img alt= " " and write your description of the image between the 2 quotes. Then at the end of the HTML of the photo put /img to end the image with description.
Thank you Katrin! That is good to know. I just updated the most recent post so the image has an alt tag. I think I did it right. It was really easy, so I'll try to remember to keep doing that from now on :)
Yup you did it right! Great job :-)
